Hi, I'm Tracey O'Neill and I'm the Data Consultant; a unique blend of Recruitment Consultant and Data Analytics expert.

I started my career in recruitment in Dublin in 1999. I worked on a Temps and Contracts desk recruiting Part Qualified Accountants and recruitment was very different back then. We sent CVs via fax, we had one PC in the corner of the room, emails were printed off and deposited in our physical in trays and we introduced candidates to prospective employers over the phone.

 

For over 10 years I worked as a Recruiter and Recruitment Manager in both Dublin and Belfast across Commerce & Industry, Professional  & Financial Services and Public Sector. I also spent 2 years leading a Managed Services team who hired over 200 employees for a US multinational setting up a Technology Centre of Excellence in Dublin.

 

 

 

Over the course of those years something big happened, the advent of the internet and an unprecedented explosion of recruitment related data. Along with the seismic shift in the amount of data, came Applicant Tracking Systems and Customer Relationship Management,  Jobs Boards and LinkedIn, KPIs, metrics and recruitment ratios. However, the art of recruitment stayed the same; find the best candidates, find good quality jobs and fill them faster than your competitors.

 

 

 

Since 2012 I have been working with recruitment agencies, in the Data Analytics and Insights function. I work with data from all business functions, across Operations, Marketing, Finance and People teams.

My mission is to help recruitment businesses grow, by optimising systems and processes,  to realise a return on investment and a return on effort.

The overall objective is to increase revenue relative to the bottom line, whilst keeping customer experience high and employee attrition low.
